You might have questions about my art. That’s why I’ve rounded up the most popular ones and answered them in detail.

Original Art

Yes. The price of original art includes framing as pictured. If frame is not pictured, the artist will contact you to determine your matting and framing preferences. Your framed art is ready to hang.

Yes. To ensure the value and quality of your fine art purchase, original art is created using archival-quality materials and are accompanied with Certificates of Authenticity. Art is professionally mounted and framed. Your art is finished with UV-protective glass and a dust-cover.

This certificate certifies that the accompanying Original Art was crafted and finished using the highest quality archival materials.

It includes details of the original artwork including: title, size, subject matter, medium, and artist name signature and contact info. 

Collectors are advised to record a list of owners (and dates of ownership) on the back of this document.

Commissioned Art

Yes. Visit the contact page and submit the form with your art request. I work mostly in charcoal and watercolor. Subject matters include landscapes, plants, animals, pet portraits and people portraits. NOTE: After submitting the form, please email photos of your requested subject to jamie@mediatrunk.com. I will then contact you with an estimate.

Shipping

No. Shipping cost is in addition to the price of the art. You will see the price of shipping in your shopping cart after you enter your shipping address.

Artwork is professionally pack and shipped via UPS. When you receive the art please keep the packing material and box in-tact as you unwrap – in case the matting or framing is damaged. This ensures the art is able to be shipped back to me, repackaged, and re-shipped to at no add’l cost.

Usually art will arrive to you within 5-10 business days depending on location of buyer, inventory, and matting and framing options. 

Fine Art Prints

Fine art Giclee prints are created with high quality archival inks and substrates by a master printer dedicated to the art of fine art of printmaking.
– Inks: Ultrachrome Pigmented
– Fine Art Paper: Hahnemuehle German Etching

Prints are available of all originals you see on my online gallery. Even if the original is sold, I mostly like still have prints available. Most of my limited prints run to 100, 250 or 500 prints made total in the life of the artwork. After the limited reach, prints will not be sold anymore.

Small 5×7″ prints are open edition. There is no limit on the number of small, open editions prints sold. This allows prints to be purchased by more people.

Prints larger than 5×7″ are limited edition: Usually no more than 250 prints are ever sold of a piece. The limited number is written on the artwork. If you are an art collector, this increases the value of your fine art print over time. Limited edition prints are signed by the artist and include a Certificate of Authenticity.

Finish Options

1.5″ deep. Add $35 per print for 2.5″ deep canvas. Edge options are full image wrap or colored edges.

Fine art paper prints and unstretched canvas prints are shipped with thin protective paper, rolled, wrapped in protective plastic, and shipped in a cardboard tube.
